Raised the only daughter among two brothers, Caroline was a true Southern belle. She graduated from Brenau Private School and attended Virginia Commonwealth University seeking a degree in art.

After college Caroline moved to North Carolina where she began a short career in the banking industry which was briefly halted after becoming a mother to two boys. Caroline poured her soul into her two boys’ lives never missing an opportunity to guide them and always making fond memories. Caroline married Steve Leonard Green on October 23, 1999 in Greensboro, N.C. and began a life in which their partnership was rich with back road mountain trips, leading a successful landscaping and nursery business and spending as much time with each others ‘ children and grandchildren.

Caroline never saw a challenge she couldn’t defeat, was never scared to try new things and never knew a stranger. Her battle with cancer was testament to strength and gusto in which she lived every day of her life.
