NOTICE OF SUMMONS

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN, Jasmine Grover and Austin King. The mother of the children is Jasmine Grover.

YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the above-styled action seeking custody of the above-named children was filed against you in the Juvenile Court of Elbert County on or about the 27th day of August, 2019, and that by reason of an order for service by publication entered by the Court on or about the 6th day of September, 2019;

YOU ARE HEREBY COMMANDED AND REQUIRED to appear before the Juvenile Court of Elbert County, Georgia, located at the Elbert County Government Complex, 45 Forest Avenue, Elberton, Georgia on the 25th day of October, 2019 at 9:30 o'clock a.m., for the purposes of a  hearing on a Dependency Petition, Final Disposition, and Initial Review. You are hereby notified that the Elbert County Department of Family and Children Services intends to submit a permanency report/case plan for consideration as an order of the Court at said hearing.

You are further notified that you are required to provide to the Court, within ten days from the date of preliminary disposition in this case, the names and addresses of all relatives and other persons who might be considered as possible placements for the child.

A copy of the petition may be obtained from the Clerk of the Juvenile Court at the Elbert County Courthouse, Elberton, Georgia, during regular business hours, exclusive of holidays.  A free copy shall be available to the parents. Upon request, the copy will be mailed to the requester. 

The general nature of the allegations are: abandonment, neglect and dependency.

YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that while responsive pleadings are not mandatory, they are permissible, and you are encouraged to file with the clerk of this court and serve upon Petitioner's attorney, Megan Whetsel, 1860 Barnett Shoals Road, Suite 103-408, Athens, Georgia 30605, an answer or other responsive pleading.

All concerned parties are informed that they are entitled to have an attorney represent them; and if a party is entitled to counsel during the proceedings, the Court will appoint counsel at no cost if the party is unable without undue financial hardship to employ counsel.

NOTICE OF APPLICATION Notice is hereby given that Rick’s Pizza Pub is applying to the South Carolina Department of Revenue for a license/permit that will allow the sales and off premises consumption of beer, wine and liquor at 7721 Highway 76, Pendleton, S.C. 29670. To object to the issuance of this permit/license, written protest must be postmarked no later than May 21, 2019.
