JERRY CLEVELAND

BELTON – Jerry Ray Cleveland, 83, of 200 Pinehaven Drive, husband of Tommie Lee “Pete” Cleveland, died Monday, May 17, 2010 at his home.
Born September 25, 1926 in Anderson, he was the son of the late Joe W. and Fannie Louise Rumsey Cleveland. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of W.W. II and Korea. Mr. Cleveland retired from Duke Power Co. and was a former textile employee at Orr Mill. He was a Mason, Shriner, and a member of Orrville Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, “Pete” Cleveland of the home; sons, Gary Cleveland and wife, Deborah of Belton, Donnie Cleveland and wife, Gaylynn of Phoenix, AZ, and Shaun Cleveland and wife, Cindy of Belton; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister, Rachel Dunn of Anderson; and a sister-in-law, Evelyn Minyard of Anderson.
He was preceded in death by a son, William Eugene Cleveland and a grandson, Christopher Adam Cleveland.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Sullivan-King Mortuary, Downtown Chapel, conducted by Dr. Wendell Bannister. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Saturday at the mortuary, 401 North Main Street, Anderson. The family is at the residence.
