KENNETH GRIFFITH

September 24, 1936 – May 17, 2010

PENDLETON, SC - Kenneth Franklin Griffith, age 73, of Pendleton, passed away on Monday, May 17, 2010 at the VA Medical Center in Augusta, GA.

Born in Anderson County, SC, he was a son of the late Cecil Eugene Griffith and Jean Baldwin Griffith.  He was formerly employed with Machine Parts in Anderson, SC and La Frances Industries in Pendleton, SC.  He served in the United States Navy and was a member of the V.F.W.

Survivors include his son, David Griffith; brothers, William Griffith and his wife, Frances and Phil Griffith and his wife, Ann; sisters, Judy Stallings and her husband, Willis and Barbara Kay and her husband, Leon; two grandchildren, Crystal and Patrick Griffith and great-grandson, Matthew Cooper; special Daughter, Deborah Parker and special grandchildren, Alex Busby and Baylee Palmer.

He was predeceased by a son, Kenneth F. Griffith, Jr., and grandson, Kenny Lee Griffith.

A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at 4:00 pm, officiated by the Reverend Fred Custer at Slabtown Cemetery, Pendleton, SC with Military Honors. 

The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends immediately following the service.
