Air Quality Alert in Upstate Today

An Air Quality Alert remains in place for the Upstate today until 9 p.m. Breathing conditions could be risky for the elderly, the very young, and anyone with asthma or other respiratory conditions.

Spending time outside is safe, although officials suggest limiting activities which require long-term outdoor activities such as running or other physical work.
