Electric City Playhouse Slates Drama Camps for June

The Electric City Playhouse’s 2010 Drama Camp will be held Jun 14-18, 21-25 from 9:00am-12:30pm for young actors aged 8 through 15. Throughout the two weeks, young actors will learn elements of classical musical theatre, group dance steps, joyful songs, voice inflection and projection and theatre etiquette and camaraderie. Young actors will grow as they learn self-esteem, cultivating artistry, and fostering teamwork in an atmosphere of encouragement and respect.

As a performance also lends a sense of energy and excitement to the camp, at the end of their two weeks the young actors will perform on our stage to show off their newly expanded skills. There is no experience necessary, the registration deadline is May 31 and the cost is $150 with an additional $25 for each sibling.
