Saturday, July 4, 2015 at 10:48AM Anderson, SC - Robert Steven Hill, 66, died Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Steve was born in Anderson, SC, the son of the late Marshall and Frances Hill. Steve worked at the Anderson Rec center for many years and was a member of North Anderson Baptist Church. Steve loved people and enjoyed being with others. He loved the Church and most of all he loved Jesus. Steve loved his mother and now he is with her forever more.
Steve loved his family, especially his nieces and nephews, BJ, Parker, Jennifer, Samuel, Braiden and Alex and also his great nieces and nephews, Chord, Izzy, Emory, Luke, Lena and John Cole. Steve is survived by his brothers, Charley, Stan and Buck.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Sullivan-King Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow at Old Silver Brook Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9 until 10:15 a.m. Monday at the mortuary.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to Meals on Wheels of Anderson, P.O. Box 285, Anderson, SC 29622. The family would like to extend an invitation for those who would like, to join them at Mama Penn’s restaurant at the conclusion of the graveside.
