Marian Kay Parker
Saturday, July 4, 2015 at 10:47AM Pendleton, SC - Marian Kay Parker, 92, widow of Robert William Parker, died Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Summit Hills in Spartanburg, SC.
Born in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late Vernon H. and Louise Wolff Kay. She was a 1940 graduate of Anderson Girls High School. Mrs. Parker was retired from Clemson University, where she worked as a secretary, in the Forestry Department. She was a member of Pendleton United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a son, Pat Parker, and wife Dalene; grandson, Daniel Parker; granddaughter, Susanne Parker; brother, John Thomas Kay and wife Judy; nephew, Sammy Kay; nieces, Vikki Walters, Tomi Lussier, Angie Long, and Jan Register.
Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Sunday at Pendleton United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Mel Arant. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 until 3 p.m. Sunday, prior to the service, at the church.
