Richard A. Darracott
Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at 4:59PM Anderson, SC - Richard Austin Darracott, 73, husband of Jean B. Darracott, died Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Born April 4, 1941, he was the son of the late Richard Olin and Lillie Land Darracott. He was a retired contractor and cattleman. Mr. Darracott attended Middleton Road Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Jean, of the home; daughter, Regina Lynn Darracott of Anderson; a granddaughter, Mandi K. Jacobs of Anderson; his dog, Mily; and all his cattle, which he loved.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Sullivan-King Mortuary Chapel conducted by Pastor Butch Moore. Burial will follow in New Silver Brook Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary. The family is at the residence.
