Marty Sue Bland Scott

Martha (Marty) Sue Bland Scott, 73, formerly of Westwood Estates, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at her residence.

Born September 25, 1940 in Miami, FL, she was the daughter of the late Warren R. Bland and Beatrice Carlisle McNair. Marty was the beloved wife of the late Jack E. Scott, Sr. and a homemaker.

Surviving are her children, Kimberly G. Scott, Christopher W. Scott (Jennifer), Jack Edward Scott, Jr. (LuAnne) all of Anderson and Andy Scott (Christie) of Easley; 10 grandchildren, Eric, Ashley, Aaron, Dylan, Brandon, Zach, Camron, Amelia, Taylor and Caleb; great grandson, Liam; sister, Denise Summerell of Ashboro, NC and brother, Nicky McNair of Smiths, AL. Marty was preceded in death by a brother, Meredith McNair.

Funeral service will be held 2pm Sunday at Sullivan-King Mortuary, officiated by her grandson, Pastor Aaron Scott. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 until 2pm at the Mortuary. The family is at their respective homes.
