DENVER SEAGRAVES

STARR, SC - Mr. Denver Alexander Seagraves, age 53, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2013, at his residence.
Born in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late Roy David Seagraves and the late Frances Pierce Seagraves. He worked at the Wamsutta Plant for many years. Mr. Denver was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his family. He attended Starr Church of God of Prophecy.
He is survived by his children, Jason Seagraves and Tessa Wilson, both of Anderson, SC; his siblings, Diane Brown and her husband Larry, David, Doug and his wife Diane, Danny Donnie, and Dewayne and his wife Marie Seagraves; five grandchildren; and his faithful furry companion, his dog, Jazee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Hodges Seagraves and a grandson, Duron Seagraves.
The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2013, at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend Leland Pitts officiating. Interment will follow at New Silver Brook Cemetery.
The family will be at the home of his sister, Diane Brown, 109 Harmony Road, Anderson, SC 29624 and will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
