JEFFREY “JEFF” APSEY

March 13, 1964 – April 15, 2013
Jeffrey “Jeff” Dewey Apsey, age 49, of 107 Stevenson Drive, Belton, passed away at his residence on Monday, April 15, 2013, surrounded by the love of his family. Born in Jacksonville, NC, he was the son of Norman Eugene Apsey of Six Mile, SC, and Willie Mae Wilson of Anderson.
Mr. Apsey was a Loom Technician and Shift Supervisor at Loom Craft, Inc. He enjoyed fishing and searching for arrowheads in his spare time. Jeff proudly served his country in the US Army, including 15 years in the US Army Reserve.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Beverly Sue Epps Apsey of the residence; 2 step-sons, Brandon Eskew of Belton and Kevin McCurry of Anderson; 2 daughters, Krystin Apsey and Kayla Apsey, both of Anderson; 2 sisters, Cynthia Jean Elliott and husband, Robert, and Donna Robinson, and husband Steve, both of Anderson; 2 grandsons, Brayden and Brantley Eskew of Belton; and a number of nieces and nephews. Also surviving is Jeff’s pet, his constant companion and friend, Jackleg Wilson of the residence. Mr. Apsey was preceded in death by a sister, Margie Daniese Apsey and a stepson, Devan Burdette.
The family will be at the residence, and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 17, 2013, from 6 PM until 8 PM. A celebration of the life of Jeffrey Apsey will be arranged by family and friends and will be held on a later date.
