BROWN ROBERTS
Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at 5:41PM ANDERSON - Brown Yarbourgh Roberts, 82, of 104 Marion Street, died Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at AnMed Medical Health Center.
Born June 14, 1929 in Pelzer, he was the son of the late Clayto Lamar and Jewell Brown Roberts. Brown was a self-employed contract painter and of the Presbyterian Faith.
Surviving are his wife, Frances Buchanan Roberts of the home; daughter, Sandra R. Beasley of Starr; son, John Roberts of Anderson; 3 grandchildren, Amy Taylor, JoBeth Plott and Joshua Beasley; 5 great grandchildren, Grayson, Watson and Rowan Taylor and Addison and Graylin Plott; 2 brothers, Clayto Roberts of Greenwood and Smiley Roberts of Anderson and 2 sisters, Sara Edwards of Greenville and Janelle McCurry of Anderson. He was preceded in death by a sister, Xemena Cameron.
A graveside service will be held at 2pm Wednesday at M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Nations officiating.
The family is at the home of the daughter, Sandra Beasley, 205 Miriam Road, Starr.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Thornwell Home for Children, 302 South Broad Street, Clinton, SC 29325.
