BOBBY OWENS
Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at 9:19PM PENDLETON - William "Bobby" Robert Owens, 68, of 104 Owens Road, husband of Elizabeth Ann Owens, died Monday, October 17, 2011 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Born May 27, 1943 in Anderson, he was the son of the late Roy and Eunice Sargent Owens. He was a retired textile employee and member of Six & Twenty Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Ann Owens of the home; children, Michael Owens (Dawn) of Pendleton, Dana Cooley of Pelzer, David Owens (Melinda) of Liberty and Nancy Robinson (Darryl) of Pendleton; 6 grandchildren, Jessica and Michael Cooley, Coby, Ivy, Hadley and Shannon Owens and a sister, Pat Vanromer of Anderson. He was preceded by a brother, Virgil Owens; 2 sisters, Jeannette Cothran and Jean Elrod and grandson, Jamie Owens.
Funeral service will be held at 3pm Thursday at Six & Twenty Baptist Church with Rev. Willie Honea and Bishop Ralph E. James, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3pm Thursday at the church prior to the service. The family is at the residence.
