IVA, SC – John Patrick O’Neal Jr., age 71, resident of Iva, SC, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2011, at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson, SC.
Born April 9, 1940, he was the son of the late John Patrick O’Neal Sr. and Marjorie Martin O’Neal. He served in the United States Navy and attended the University of Tampa. He was a retired contractor and operated Pat O’Neal’s Liquor Store with his father for many years. Mr. O’Neal was Episcopalian.
Survivors include his sons: John Patrick O’Neal III and wife, Christy of Anderson, SC, Kelly O’Neal and wife, Stacy of New Concord, OH; an aunt, Martha O’Neal McGee of Anderson, SC; grandchildren: Brandi and Londyn O’Neal; step grandchildren: Carter Campbell, Mark Feifel, and Ashley Feifel; and a step great granddaughter, Jillian Klein.
The Funeral Service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, October 18, 2011, in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home conducted by the Reverend Chris Sustar.
The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home from 6pm until 8pm on Monday.
