RANDALL RAY DAVIS

February 13, 1950 – December 16, 2010

ANDERSON, SC - Randall Ray “Randy” Davis, age 60, of 133 Richland Drive, died Thursday, December 16, 2010 at his residence.

Born in Greenville, SC on February 13, 1950, Randy was a son of the late William Harry Davis and Margaret Alice Huffman Davis.  He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was employed as a truck driver for over forty years. 

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Beverly McGaha Davis of the home; daughter, Ashley Huffstetler of Anderson; two grandchildren, Kayleigh and Kevin Huffstetler; brothers, George Davis of Powdersville, SC and David Davis of Sterlington, LA.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Billy J. Davis and a sister, Dorothy A. Wright.

The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 20, 2010 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Morton Belk.  Interment will follow in M. J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery with Military Honors.

The family will be at the residence and will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, December 19, 2010 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
