Magistrate's Anderson Office to Extend Service Hours

Observer Reports
Beginning Aug. 29, the Anderson County Magistrate's office will expand office hours to better match court schedules.
The new hours, Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-7 p.m., will effect only the main Magistrate’s Office, located in the Ronald Townsend Building in Anderson. The new service hours are based on information from citizens who had experienced difficulties attending court due to work schedules.
“I hope that this will assist the citizens of Anderson County in some small way,” said Chief Magistrate Wynee Eubanks. “By extending the hours of operation, the Magistrate Court will be available to the public in the evening.”
