Anderson Area Touchdown Club Kicks Off Season Friday

The Anderson Area Touchdown Club will kick off season 38 on Friday with high school coaches from across the county set as speakers.
Membership to join the club is $50 for individuals and $200 for companies (includes five memberships for use by employees or guests). The Touchdown Club meets at the main branch of the Anderson County Library, with the meal beginning at 11:30 a.m. The program begins at 12:10 p.m.
The cost of the lunch meal, catered by Mama Penn's Restaurant, is $11.
This season there will be 13 meetings with 12 speakers. Speakers will include former Furman/Vanderbilt coach Bobby Johnson; former Wofford Football Coach Mike Ayers; former Clemson Sports Information Director Tim Bourret; former coach Sam Wyche; former Atlanta Braves pitching coach Leo Mazzoni; ACC official Riley Johnson; former Clemson Coach Danny Ford; Coastal Carolina Coach Jamey Chadwell; former NCSU/VA Tech Coach Mike O’Cain; former USC player Marcus Lattimore; ESPN Tony Barnhardt; former Georgia quarterback David Greene.
