Missing Anderson Man Located in Georgia

Anderson County Sheriff's Office is pleased to report that missing, endangered 70 year old, Donald Ray Sherman, has been located in Coweta County, GA.

Deputies with the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office located a vehicle on the side of Interstate 85 that matched the one Sherman was last driving. When deputies got out to investigate, they discovered the vehicle was unoccupied, but found to be listed in the National Criminal Information Center database and belonging to Sherman. 

After a search of the area near the vehicle, Sherman was located in the woods approximately 500 yards from the road. He was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment.
