Boil Water Alert Remains in Effect

The Anderson Regional Joint Water System said Thursday night that repairs had been made and the plant was operating normally. The Water System asked customers to only "use water for essential purposes" and boil water until further notice after the pipe ruptured Wednesday night.

Conservation and boil water notices remain in effect until further notice. However, officials said they expect to have a complete refill of the system sometime Friday.

What Discount will the City of Anderson, SC - Local Government be providing to the persons using Water - I have spent considerable dollars purchasing water from the store AS WELL AS running water through my pipes to get the muddy mess out of them when the water went off on Thursday. I think you should FORGIVE all of the bills for the months of June to ALL Customers. Between this problem and the smelly bad tasting water for weeks now, this is a mess and we the consumers should get a break for poor service and results.
