East-West Parkway Officially Open for Traffic

Anderson's East-West Parkway, a stretch of four-lane connnecting S.C. 81 with Clemson Boulevard officially opened today with music, speeches and a ribbon cutting celebrating the road and bike/walking path's officially being put into use.

The road, which began as a two-lane in 2009, was later widened and plans added to connnect the walking trails from AnMed's North Campus with the Anderson Civic Center.
