Sheriff's Dept. Seeks Suspect in Belton Murder

The Anderson County Sheriff’s Department has issued a warrant for Harley Edwards, 29, 1312 Johns Ave, Belton, in connection with a homicide, which occurred late Wednesday night in Belton.
    At 10 p.m., deputies responded to a call at 243 Sherwood Dr., Belton where they found James Eric Campbell, 31, of 108 Church Street, Belton, had been stabbed in the torso. Campbell was transported to AnMed Health where he died as a result of this injury.
    Sheriff’s Office investigators have identified Edwards as the suspect.  Arrest warrants have been issued for Edwards charging him with Murder and Possession of a Weapon During the Commission of a Violent Crime.
