Myra Worley

Townville - Myra Isabella Worley, age 90, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at Fellowship Health and Rehab.

Born in Cleveland, VA, she was the daughter of the late Asa Strouth and the late Esther Audet Strouth.  She retired as a registered nurse after 40 years of service.  She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. 

She is survived by her children, Ronald Worley and his wife Tina, of Maryland, Patricia Gardner and her husband Robert, of Townville, SC, Mary Wright and her husband Robert, of Greenville, SC, and Diana Schoenbeck and her husband Thomas of Delaware; two sisters, Jeanne Spatafore, of Ohio and Ida Weizman and her husband Raymond, of Ohio; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Eleanor Worley, William D. Worley, Christopher Worley, and Margaret Moore.

The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. with Father Ignatius Smith, OFM officiating.  Entombment will follow at a later date at Holy Cross Cemetery in Dover, DE. 

The family will be at the home of her daughter, Patricia and will receive friends, at the church, on Tuesday, prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.  

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1200 Cornelia Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
