Tandy Woods
Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 8:14PM Honea Path, SC - Tandy Martin Woods III, 71, husband of Calvene Pruitt Woods, died Monday, March 16, 2015 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Born June 2, 1943, he was the son of the late Tandy M. Woods, Jr. and the late Nancy Ledford Woods. Mr. Woods was a retired auctioneer and was co-owner of the Honea Path Auction Barn. He was a member of Broadmouth Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Calvene Woods of the home; two sons, Marty Woods and wife, Kelly of Laurens and Kevin Woods and wife, Molly of Anderson; three grandchildren, Justin Woods of Laurens and Abby and Owen Woods of Anderson; and a special niece, Jana Pruitt Lott and husband, Jeff and family of Summerville. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Woods Adams.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sullivan-King Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Jerry L. Mize. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Keowee Baptist Church Cemetery, Honea Path. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary, 3205 North Highway 81, Anderson. The family is at the home of Doug and Jane Pruitt, 4503 Keowee Road, Honea Path.
