Lila Mae Hanks
Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 4:48PM Anderson, SC - Lila Mae Fisher Hanks, 91, widow of Marshall W. Hanks, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at the Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Abbeville County, she was the daughter of the late Reynold A. and Neva Ashley Fisher. She was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women (UMW) of the church.
She is survived by her nephew, Ronald L. Fisher and wife, Melissa, of Columbia.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Lamar and Ernest Fisher.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Ebenezer United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Kempie Shepard and Rev. Charlie Brookshire. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 p.m. Sunday at the church.
