Lewis R. Hubbard
Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 2:20PM Anderson, SC - Lewis Ray Hubbard, 82, husband of Celia Ridgeway Hubbard, died Friday, January 30, 2015 at Rainey Hospice House.
Born February 8, 1932 in Anderson County, he was the son of the late Thomas Arthur and Lila Snelgrove Hubbard. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Hubbard was a retired employee of Michelin and was a gentleman farmer. He was a member of Hiram Lodge #68 AFM and a member of Crossover Community Church.
Survivors include his wife, Celia R. Hubbard of the home; three sons, Lewis Ray Hubbard, Jr. and wife, Pat, Russell Jay Hubbard, and Steve Dale Hubbard and wife, Kelly, all of Anderson; five grandchildren, Lewis Ray Hubbard III, Anna Marie Hubbard, Amy Leigh Hubbard, Nathan Thomas Hubbard and Michael Scott Bellamy.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Sullivan-King Mortuary Chapel conducted by Pastors Allen McConnell and Philip Blankenship with military honors. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary.
