Cathy Nixon Pierce
Thursday, February 13, 2014 at 7:52PM Clemson - Nancy Catherine Nixon Pierce, 55, wife of Charlie Pierce, died Monday, February 10, 2014 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Born January 24, 1959 in Anderson, she was the daughter of Roy E. “Possum” and Carol Poole Nixon. She was owner and operator of Cakes by Shirley in Seneca.
Survivors include her husband, Charlie Pierce of the home; parents, Roy “Possum” and Carol Nixon; sister, Cynthia Nixon; and a brother, David Nixon, all of Anderson.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Sullivan-King Mortuary Chapel, 3205 North Highway 81, Anderson. The family will receive friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your local Humane Society or Barbara Streisand Women’s Heart Center, 8700 Beverly Boulevard, Suite 2416, Los Angeles, CA 90048.
