STARR, SC - Kathy Segers, age 59, wife of Tommy Segers, passed away on Sunday, June 02, 2013 at Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Randolph Bryant and the late Virginia Bell Hammond Bryant. She was retired from AnMed Health Medical Center as a nursing assistant. Mrs. Segers was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years; daughter, Teresa Gentry and her husband, Tony of Starr, SC; brother, Alton Bryant of Anderson, SC ; sister, Deborah Ballew of Anderson, SC; grandchildren, Justin Gentry and his wife, Casey,Christa Gentry and Kasey Gentry; great grandchildren, Izabella, Rayli and Aurora Gentry.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Randy Lee Segers.
The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at 2:00 in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with the Reverend Sam Duncan officiating.
The family will be at the residence and will receive friends on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
