BRAD MARSHALL SIMPSON, JR.

MARCH 29, 1988 – JUNE 21, 2013

EASLEY, SC - Brad Marshall Simpson, Jr., 25, died Friday, June 21, 2013.  Brad was born March 29, 1988, in Columbia, SC.  He was the son of Dr. & Mrs. Brad Simpson (Angela) of Easley, SC.

Brad graduated from Easley High School with Honors in 2006.  He attended Clemson University and USC Upstate in pursuit of a degree in English & Philosophy.  Brad loved Clemson football, fishing, writing, spending time with his family, teaching Natalie swim lessons, and making people laugh.  Everyone was always entertained by his ever present wit.

Brad was a member of Easley Presbyterian Church.  He had recently been attending New Spring Church, Anderson, SC where he’d made a profession of faith May 19th and was to be baptized on June 30th.

Brad is survived by his parents; sister, CA Simpson, and the love, joy & light of his life, his niece, Natalie, of Easley, SC; sister & brother-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. David Prohaska (Nicole) of Mt. Pleasant, SC.  He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Arthur McClain (Paris known as “Miss Mac”) of Iva, SC and paternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Claude Simpson (Yvonne) of Anderson, SC.

A Graveside Service will be held Sunday, June 23, 2013 at 3:30 pm at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Honea Path, SC with Dr. William Seel officiating.  The family will be at the residence.
