NAN McALISTER NEWMAN

PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL - Nyaniza McAlister (Nan) Newman, 56, wife of Michael Newman, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL., died Sunday, June 9, 2013 at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center.

Born in Anderson, she was the daughter of Sybil McAlister Ethridge and the late William H. McAlister. She was an interior decorator and a graduate of T.L. Hanna High School. She was of the Baptist faith. 

Surviving in addition to her husband of the home and her mother of Anderson are her stepfather, Roy Ethridge, Sr. of Anderson; three sons, Joshua Newman, Justin Newman and Collin Newman, all of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; brothers, Rodney (Ann) McAlister of Greenwood, Jay (Debby) McAlister of Boca Raton, FL; stepbrother, Roy Ethridge, Jr. and stepsister, Karen Holliday, both of Anderson.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
