RUBY H. BOGGS

ANDERSON - Ruby Lee Harbin Boggs, 88, of Anderson, widow of Walter M. “Lit” Boggs, died Tuesday, April 16, 2013.
Born September 8, 1924 in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Calhoun and Nannie Thrasher Harbin. She was a 1942 graduate of Girl’s High School. Mrs. Boggs was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was a Charter member of Forest Hill Baptist Church and the Hope Sunday School Class.
Survivors include her daughter, Barrie Tinsley and husband, Bobby of Anderson; son-in-law, Tommy Moore of Anderson; grandchildren, Mark Tinsley, Kristy Tinsley, and Melissa Durham; great grandchildren, Morgan, Emma, and Chase; several nieces and nephews; and her caregiver and special friend, Nell Williams.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Suzanne Boggs Moore, three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Sullivan-King Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Tom Owen and Mark Tinsley. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends at the mortuary following the service. The family will be at the residence Thursday afternoon.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hope Sunday School Class at Forest Hill Baptist Church, 909 Plantation Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
