KAREN ALLEN OSBORNE

December 9, 1960 – April 11, 2013

ANDERSON, SC - Karen Ann Allen Osborne, age 52, of Anderson, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2013, at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Born in Anderson, she was the daughter of Charles E. and Mary Frances Eberhart Allen, of Anderson.  She graduated from Westside High School in 1978 and attended Anderson College.  She worked at First Citizens Bank and with the Piedmont Candy Company for many years.  She was a member of Covenant Baptist Church.  Karen enjoyed praising the Lord and singing gospel music.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving husband, Randall “Putt Putt” Osborne of the home; three daughters, Terri Ann McGuffin Hall, Jessica Smith and Jennifer Smith, all of Anderson; a brother Reverend Michael Allen and his wife Brenda of Anderson; and a mother-in-law, Ann Cannon of Atlanta, GA. 

The Memorial Service to honor Karen’s life will be held on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Covenant Baptist Church with Reverend Steve Silvey officiating.   

The family will be at the home of her parents and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Saturday, April 13, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
