BELTON, SC – Bonnie Bailey Bloodworth went to be home in the arms of Jesus on Thursday, July 14, 2011. She was born April 22, 1935, and was a daughter of the late Joe & Nellie Bailey.
Survivors include her husband, David Bloodsworth; daughter, Peggy Haynie of Belton; sons: Larry Zapeline (Donna) of Anderson, and Ricky Sanders of Anderson; grandchildren: Jason Haynie, and Tonya Thomason; great grandchildren: Joda and Mia; brothers: Kenneth Bailey of Kingsland, GA, and Michael Bailey of Anderson; sisters: Jean Johnson (J.T.) of Anderson, Nellie Jo Columbo of Belton, and Carolyn Phillips (Charles) of Jacksonville, FL. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by siblings: Peggy Ann Bailey, Elizabeth Ginn, Edward Bailey, and Joe “Jr” Bailey.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, July 16, 2011, in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home conducted by Dr. Carolyn Phillips. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
The family is at the home and will receive friends at the funeral home from 7pm until 9pm on Friday.
