JOHNNY PETRATOS
Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at 9:45PM ANDERSON, SC – John A. Petratos, age 51, of Anderson, SC, died October 2, 2011, at his home surrounded by family.
He was born in Greenville, SC, and was the owner and operator of Slabtown Variety Store.
Surviving are his wife, Susie N. Petratos; son, Austin; daughter, Alexis, all of Anderson, SC; mother, Ntina Petratos of Greenville, SC; sisters: Nickie Petratos of Chicago, IL, and Susanna Petratos of Greenville, SC; brother, Tommy Petratos of Easley, SC. He was the son of the late Andreas Petratos.
The family will receive friends from 6pm until 8pm on Wednesday, Oct. 5, at The McDougald Funeral Home. A Memorial Service honoring Johnny’s life will be at 4pm on Thursday, October 6, at Concord Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Special Olympics, SC Area 14, P.O. Box 1049, Anderson, SC 29622, or to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621. The family is at the residence.
