MARY KATE LEWIS
Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 10:02PM ANDERSON, SC – Ms. Mary Kate (Kathleen) Lewis went to her reward on Wednesday, October 12, 2011, at the Rainey Hospice House.
As a longtime resident of the Wil-Mary Apartments her friendly and supportive attitude will be missed. She is survived locally by her brother, Jack L. Lewis. Her other survivors include sister, Ms. Sara Johnson of Virginia Beach, VA; sister, Mrs. Nanette Marlowe and Ms. Alice Marlowe. Mary Kate attended the University of South Carolina and studied nursing at McClouds Infirmary in Florence, SC, and was a Registered Nurse for thirteen years. She was loyal to her family and friends and was a historian for family. She was a Christian and a member of the Loris United Methodist Church, Loris, SC.
The Funeral Service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, October 15, 2011, in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home conducted by the Reverend Dan Batson. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior the service.
