JIMMY BOLEMAN

TOWNVILLE – James Max Boleman, Jr., 62, of 200 Shirley Circle, husband of Pat Lindsey Boleman, died Friday, August 27, 2010.
Born January 22, 1948 in Oconee County, he was the son of Hazel Martin Boleman of Townville and the late James Max Boleman, Sr. He was a graduate of Townville High School, Anderson College, and Erskine College. He served in the U.S. Air Force Reserves and the National Guard. Mr. Boleman retired as Director of Procurement at Clemson University and was a Farmer. He served on the Board of Directors at Fork Rescue Squad and was a member of the Townville Fire Department. Mr. Boleman was an active member of Townville Baptist Church where he served as church treasurer, Deacon, R.A. Director, choir member, van ministry, and currently was the oldest member of the church softball team.
In addition to his wife and mother, survivors include two daughters, Julie Collins and husband, Jim, and Jennifer Williams and husband, Robby, all of Townville; four grandchildren, Lindsey and Wil Collins, Emma and Reece Williams; sister, Mary Lindsey and husband, Ken of Townville; nephew, Jay Lindsey and wife, Nikki; niece, Amy Jennings and husband, Keith; great-nephews, Ethan and Sam Jennings; great-niece, Laney Jennings; and his mother-in-law, Pearle Shirley Lindsey of Townville.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Monday at Townville Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Kenny Owen. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends in the Family Life Center of the church following the service. The family is at the residence.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Townville Baptist Church, P.O. Box 125, Townville, SC 29689.
