EDNA MULLIKIN

NOVEMBER 28, 1931 – MAY 28, 2010

LAFRANCE, SC – Edna Louise Gentry Mullikin, age 78, wife of the late Conrad “Connie” Mullikin, passed away on Friday, May 28, 2010.

Born in Anderson County on November 28, 1931, she was a daughter of the late John Harrison Gentry and Lois Ellen Craft Gentry.  Mrs. Mullikin retired from LaFrance Industries.

Survivors include her daughter, Debbie Chapman and husband, Roger, of Pendleton; grandson, Matthew Chapman of Miami, FL; brothers: Preston Gentry and wife, Elaine, of Anderson, William Gentry of Anderson, and Randy Gentry and wife, Linda, of Walhalla; sisters: Bobbie Nimmons and husband, Billy, of LaFrance, Diane Garland and husband, Randall, of LaFrance.  She is also survived by her loving pet, “Smokey”.

She was predeceased by a sister, Frances Smith 

The Funeral Service will held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, May 30, 2010, in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home conducted by the Reverend Roland Bearden, the Reverend C.W. Hicks, and the Reverend Ed Brewer. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens.

The family is at the home of Roger & Debbie Chapman, 221 Washborn Avenue, Pendleton, and will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Saturday, May 29, 2010.   

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Senior Fellowship of the First Baptist Church of Pendleton, P.O. Box 187, Pendleton, SC 29670.
