LINDA KING

May 17, 1942 – May 8, 2010

Anderson, SC – Linda King, age 67, of Riverside Living Center, passed away Saturday, May 8, 2010.

Born in Fayetteville, WV on May 17, 1942, Linda was a daughter of the late Ralph and Vernie Marshall King.

She is survived by her sister, Betty Gollihugh and her husband John, who lovingly opened up their home to care for Linda until she moved to Riverside Living Center; two brothers, Winfred King and his wife Joyce of Fayetteville, NC and Joel King and his wife Phyllis of Ripley, WV; a sister-in-law, Gloria King of Oak Hill, WV; seven nieces and eight nephews and Mrs. Edney, her caring roommate at Riverside.

In addition to her parents, Linda is predeceased by three brothers, Wilbur H. King, Thomas L. King and Maurice King.

The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with the Reverend Kevin James officiating.

A special thanks is extended for the care shown by Linda’s nieces, Donna Gollihugh, Debra Gollihugh-Witt, and Delores Gollihugh; her great-nephews, Jeffrey Witt and Ryan Witt and his wife Kate Sharp-Witt, and the staff at Riverside Living Center and Greenville Memorial Hospital. It is suggested that memorials be made to Riverside Living Center – Arts Department, 109 Bentz Road, Piedmont, SC 29673.
