FRANK ISBELL

July 31, 1930 – February 25, 2010
 
ANDERSON, SC - William Frank Isbell, age 79, husband of Peggy Jefferson Isbell of 313 Lyonswood Drive, died Thursday, February 25, 2010 at the AnMed Health Medical Center.
 
Born in Townville, SC on July 31, 1930, Mr. Isbell was the son of the late Doris Isbell and Gertrude Kay Isbell.  He served in the United States Army and the Army Reserves.  He retired from textiles, having worked at Orr Lyons and Joseph Lyons Mills.  He was currently employed at White Jones for the past 20 years.  Mr. Isbell wasformerly a Gideon and a devoted member of Pleasant View Baptist Church where he was a deacon, attended the Julian Campbell Sunday School class and served on many church committees.
 
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Jefferson Isbell of the home; daughter, Pat Isbell Todd and her husband, Roger of Belton; sisters, Lois Carver of Seneca, Louise Harvell of Anderson, Monteze Dyar and Linda Cole, both of Townville and a granddaughter, Melissa Fortner.
 
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Elizabeth Lyles.
 
The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, February 28, 2010 at 2:30 pm at Pleasant View Baptist Church officiated by the Reverend Glenn Taylor.  Serving as honorary pallbearers will be the member of the Julian Campbell Sunday School class. Interment will follow in New Silver Brook Cemetery. The family will be at the residence and will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.  Mr. Isbell will be placed in the church at 2:00 pm on Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pleasant View Baptist Church. P.O. Box 13063, Anderson, SC 29624.
