ETHEL A. MILFORD
Sunday, February 14, 2010 at 8:55PM ANDERSON – Ethel Abbie Whitfield Milford, 82, of 701 Woodvale Road, died Sunday, February 14, 2010 at the Rainey Hospice House.
Born January 27, 1928 in Townville, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Abbie Gleason Whitfield. She was a sales associate with K-Mart.
Survivors include two daughters, Beverly J. Sullivan and husband, Dwayne of Anderson, Lisa Milford of Iva; three grandchildren, Brandy Simmons, Justin Sullivan, and Wendy Bellew; two great grandchildren, Bryson and Ethan Simmons; and a brother, James Rufus Whitfield.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Annie B. Drake, and a brother, Leonard F. Whitfield. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sullivan-King Mortuary, Downtown Chapel. Burial will be in Dickson Memorial United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary, 401 North Main Street. The family is at the home of a daughter, Beverly Sullivan, 100 Spring Circle, Anderson.
