Anderson County Nonpartisan Office Filing Now Open

Filing for nonpartisan offices for the November general election is now open.

Candidates are required to fill out Statement of Candidacy and an Economic Interest forms. Those interested may file at the Anderson County Voter Registration and Elections office before the Aug. 15 noon deadline. There are no filing fees for these offices.

Anderson County nonpartisan elections for November are:

Anderson County Board of Education: Districts 1, 3, 4, 5, 6

Anderson County School Trustees:

Dist. 1 - Areas 1, 4, 5, 7

Dist. 2 - Area 1, 3, 4, At-Large

Dist. 3 - Areas 1, 4, At-Large

Dist. 4 - Areas 2, 4, 5

Dist. 5 - Areas 2, 5, 6, At-Large

Homeland Park Water District: Three seats to fill.

Piedmont Pubic Service District: Three seats to fill.

Watershed Conservation District Commissioners (for watershed districts located solely within Anderson County candidates will file in the Anderson County Registration & Elections office. Multi-County will file at State Election Commission.): 

Big Creek: Three Seats to fill.

Broadmouth Creek: Two Seat to fill.

Brushy Creek: Three seats to fill.

Three & Twenty: Two seats to fill.
