ix people have been selected for a panel that will decide how the Confederate flag will be displayed at a South Carolina museum.

Three more members still need to be picked for the South Carolina Confederate Relic Room and Military Museum Commission.

State lawmakers voted in July to remove the flag from the monument in front of the Statehouse after nine people were killed at the Emanuel AME Church.

The law that removed the flag also calls for a plan to display it at the Confederate Relic Room.

A budget for the Confederate flag display must be presented by Jan. 1.
