Bi-Lo Event Will Help Dist. 5 Homeless Program

The Anderson School District Five Homeless Program will be among the charitable organizations benefitting from this year’s Anderson Bi-Lo Charity Golf Classic.

Through this event, Anderson District Bi-Lo stores are teaming up to raise money for a number of charities in our community. Bi-Lo will be holding it for the first time in Anderson at Brookstone Meadows Golf Course. All proceeds will benefit local charities.

The tourney will take place on Wednesday, May 11. Registration starts at 8 a.m. There will be a 9:30 a.m. shotgun start.

The tournament format will be a four-person team “Captain’s Choice” Mulligans will be available the day of the tournament for $5 each. All players will receive a welcome package at sign-in. There is an opportunity to win one or more of the following prizes for a hole-in-one:

Bi-Lo will hold a raffle at the end of the tournament for a variety of prizes. Tickets will be available for $5 each or 3 for $10. You must be present to win.

Lunch will be provided during the tournament. There will also be snacks and beverages provided throughout the day.
