County to Hold Community Meeting on Brownfield Projects

Anderson County has scheduled a November 16th Community Information Session to update the public on the County’s upcoming EPA Brownfield Assessment grant application. The meeting is open to everyone and will take place at 6:00 pm in the Council chambers of the Historic County Courthouse, 101 South Main Street, Anderson. 

The County plans to apply for two separate grants, one grant for the assessment of sites polluted with hazardous materials, and the other grant for the assessment of sites polluted with petroleum pollutants.
