Yvette Vassilaras Price, 50, of Anderson, SC passed away Sunday February 8, 2015 at her new residence in Cleveland, TN.
Born February 20, 1964 in Chicago, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Eydie Kelder Vassilaras. She was an active volunteer at Calhoun Elementary, McCants Middle school, and T.L. Hanna High School where her children formerly attended. Yvette was also a Legacy mentor at District 5 for over 10 years and continued a mentoring relationship up until her passing. She had her own Avon business and was a member of NewSpring Church, where she volunteered for many years.
Yvette was a caring, kind hearted person who made a lasting impact on everyone she met. She enjoyed shopping, spending time with family and friends, and enjoyed playing bunco. Her impact was always meaningful, with lifelong friends or those she just met.
She is survived by her daughter, Kalyn Nicole Price, of Anderson and her son, Zachery Evan Price, of Clemson. Yvette was formerly married to Todd Price of Anderson. She is also survived by a sister, Domna Colepaugh of Charlotte, NC.
Memorial services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday at Sullivan-King Mortuary. The family will receive friends from 2-3:30 p.m. prior to the service.
