June 22, 1955 – September 5, 2013

Randy Ray Duncan, age 58, of 5725 Midway Road, Williamston, passed away at his residence on Thursday, September 5, 2013.  Born in Anderson, he was the son of Elise Griffin Duncan of Williamston and the late H. B. Duncan Jr.  Randy was a building contractor, primarily residential homes.  He loved hard work and as a sideline, he enjoyed anything mechanical, especially restoring old car engines.  Mr. Duncan was a graduate of Palmetto High School, Class of 1974, and a member of Whitefield Baptist Church. 

In addition to his mother, Mrs. Elise Griffin Duncan of Williamston, he is survived by a daughter, Melinda Rholetter and her husband, Bradley, of Liberty; a brother, Ricky Duncan of Williamston; 4 sisters, Diane Rogers and husband, Larry, of Williamston, Debbie Grant and husband, Ricky, of Pelzer, Pam Garner and husband, Bruce, of Anderson and Jennifer Pitts and husband, Jason, of Anderson; and 2 grandchildren, John and Joshua Rholetter of Liberty.  Also surviving is Randy’s sidekick and companion, Charlie Brown, his beloved dog. 

A graveside service celebrating the life of Randy Duncan will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2013, at 3:30 PM at New Silver Brook Cemetery, with Rev. Bill Ellison and Rev. Bryan Holder officiating.  The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Sunday, September 8, 2013, from 1 PM until 3 PM.
