Pauline Elizabeth Hembree LeCroy, age 93, of 106 Boston Street, entered eternal rest on Saturday, March 2, 2013, upon her death at Rainey Hospice House.  Born in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Hembree and the late Anna Bearden Hembree.  For 64 years, she was the loving and devoted wife of the late Fred Burton LeCroy until his death in 2000.Mrs. LeCroy worked as a winder at Equinox Mills for over 30 years.  She was a member of Taylor Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church.  Her passion was her family, as she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.   

Survivors include 2 sons, Jerry LeCroy and his wife, Gail, and Mike LeCroy and his wife, Daniela, both of Anderson; 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren also survive.  In addition to her parents and husband, Fred, Mrs. LeCroy was preceded in death by a son, Charles W. LeCroy; a brother, Rev. Eugene Pettit; 3 grandchildren, Steve, Rhonda and Scott; and 1 great-grandchild, Amber Nicole.

A funeral service celebrating the life of Mrs. LeCroy will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at 2 PM at the Taylor Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Brent Lollis and Mr. Harry Osborne officiating.  Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.  The family is at the residence of  Jerry and Gail LeCroy, 323 Knollwood Drive, and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, from 6 PM until 8 PM.
