MILDRED C. BRISCOE
Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at 9:38PM ANDERSON - Mildred Crenshaw Briscoe, 79, of Anderson, died Monday, July 30, 2012.
Born May 23, 1933 in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late Felton C. Crenshaw and Lenear Gosnell. She was a homemaker, a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church and attended Taylor Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors include her husband, "Pete" Briscoe of the home; two daughters, Demetra "DeeDee" Briscoe of Los Angeles, CA and Jennifer Briscoe Wagner and husband, Eric of Myrtle Beach; one son, Davy Lee Briscoe, Jr. of Anderson; three grandchildren, Anna Briscoe, Andrea Briscoe, and Reilly Wagner; and two sisters, Athelia Cromer and Margaret Little, both of Anderson.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Sullivan-King Mortuary, Northeast Chapel, conducted by Rev. Brent Lollis. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary, 3205 North Highway 81, Anderson. The family is at the residence.
