ANDERSON - Amy Beauchamp Fobear, 32, wife of Jeffrey A. Fobear and mother of Stephen James “Jace” Fobear passed away July 15, 2012 at MD Anderson in Houston, TX.
 Amy was born in Dover, Delaware to Jim and Debbie Beauchamp, and graduated from Caesar Rodney High School in Camden, Delaware in 1998.  Amy graduated from Clemson University with honors in 2002 with a degree in Elementary Education and later completed her Master of Education from Southern Wesleyan University in 2006.  In 2002 she began her teaching career as a fifth grade teacher at LaFrance Elementary School.  Amy loved her family and friends, the staff and teachers and every student at La France Elementary School where she was proud to have been recently named Teacher of the Year.
During her illness she grew to love the caring medical staff at AnMed Health Medical Center.   Amy became an honorary member of the Boy Scout Troop 94 of Pendleton.  Amy loved Jesus and was a member of NewSpring Church.  One of Amy’s passions was her love of animals, she volunteered with Wildlife Rehab of Greenville rehabilitating orphaned animals.  She was also an aerobics instructor at the Clemson-Central Recreation Center.
 In addition to her husband and son, Amy is survived by her parents of Piedmont, SC , grandparents, aunts and uncles and cousins all living in Maryland.  
A casual open house celebration of Amy’s life will be held on Thursday, July 26th at La France Elementary School from 6:30 to 8:30 PM.   If you have a special memory or pictures of Amy you are encouraged to bring it in written form to be preserved for their son Jace.  There will also be an opportunity for anyone with a story they would like to share to speak during the service.  We would love to hear your favorite memory of Amy.
