IONE "TONI" K. SMITH
Thursday, March 15, 2012 at 4:37PM Fair Play, SC - Ione "Toni" Knuths Smith, 86, of 143 Heron Court, died Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Born August 5, 1925 in Ames, IA, she was the daughter of the late Fredrick and Mary Emma Parsons Knuths. She was a loving mother to 8 children and a homemaker.
Surviving are her husband, Donald S. Smith, Jr. of the home; 8 children, Lindsay, Don, Doug, Christopher, Debby, Pierrie, Geoff and Jill and their families and her siblings. She was preceded in death by 8 brothers and sisters and a granddaughter.
A memorial service will be held at 10am Saturday, March 17 at Grace Episcopal Church with Father Jack Hardaway IV officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the Parish Hall hosted by Grace Episcopal Church.
